Workspace Management

Members & Roles

Manage team members, send invitations, and configure role-based access control at both tenant and workspace levels.

Overview

Docimal uses a two-tier permission system: tenant-level roles control access to billing, tenant settings, and member management, while workspace-level roles control access to documents, workflows, and agent configuration within each workspace.

Tenant Roles

There are three tenant-level roles. Tenant Owner has full control including billing and can delete the tenant. Tenant Admin can manage workspaces, invite users, and configure settings but cannot access billing. User has basic access and can only work within workspaces they are invited to.

Workspace Roles

Each workspace has four roles. Owner has full workspace control. Admin can manage workspace settings and members. Member can create and edit documents, workflows, and configurations. Viewer has read-only access to all workspace content.

Inviting Members

Invite users by email from the Members page. Set their tenant role and optionally assign them to specific workspaces. Invitations have expiration dates and can be resent or revoked. Bulk invitations via CSV upload are supported for onboarding large teams.

Managing Permissions

Update a member's role at any time from the Members page. Role changes take effect immediately. When removing a member, their past contributions (documents, workflow changes) are preserved but they lose access to the platform.
