Workspace Management
Workspaces
Organize your AI agents, documents, and team members with workspaces — isolated environments within your tenant.
Overview
Workspaces are the primary organizational unit in Docimal. Each workspace contains one AI agent (chatbot), its knowledge bases and documents, workflows, integrations, and memory tables. Workspaces are isolated from each other, allowing different teams or projects to operate independently within the same tenant.
Creating a Workspace
Navigate to the Workspaces page from the tenant sidebar. Click "Create Workspace" and provide a name and optional description. Each workspace gets its own avatar, which you can customize. Once created, you can immediately start uploading documents and configuring your agent.
Workspace Settings
Access workspace settings from the gear icon in the workspace sidebar. Here you can update the workspace name, description, avatar, branding (logo, contact email, phone), and configure workspace-level preferences. The Danger Zone allows workspace owners to delete the workspace permanently.
Managing Workspace Members
Invite team members to collaborate within a workspace. Each member is assigned a workspace-level role: Owner (full control), Admin (manage settings and members), Member (create and edit content), or Viewer (read-only access). You can update roles or remove members at any time.
Switching Between Workspaces
Use the workspace switcher in the sidebar to navigate between workspaces. Your current workspace context is preserved in the URL, so you can bookmark specific workspace pages. Each workspace maintains its own independent state.
